Conclusion

The time passed very fast. I can’t believe there are only twenty days left for this semester. I feel very lucky that I can be in this class instead in the regular English class, because I can have a lot of benefits. Unlike the regular English class, we only can learn English, but in this class, besides learning English, we can also learn and work on computer. It let me feel more interesting and have more fun.

In this class, we wrote many literary logs, essays, and book reports. Some we need to take English Regents in June in order to graduate from High School, Ms. Huck also gave us some Regent Tasks to help us prepare for the test. In task 1 the listening part, I learn how to take notes while listening. In task 2 the reading part, I learned how to make an outline to write the reaction more organized and clear. I am going to take the new English Regents Exam in June, and I am not familiar for the exam. So the exercises Ms. Huck gave to us is very helpful for me, doing those exercises, it also improve my listening, reading, and writing skill significantly. Moreover, my accomplishment for literary skill obviously improved. All the assignment I did in this class can made me have more confident to take the exam, and hopeful to pass it.

The most interesting thing for me in this class is we can work in the Internet, I had learned much knowledge about computer, like how to create an e-mail account, and how to build a homepage. Before, I didn’t know those things and not feel interesting because I don’t know about it, but now, I feel fun when I work on the Internet during class time. Since to work in the Internet is part of our assignments, I had spent more time on it, and we can also put all the essay assignments to our webfolio. There are a lot of things we can do and learn in the Internet, and it’s very helpful for us.

Although I have improved a lot and worked on many essays, my listening skill and grammar skill are still poor, so I need to spend more time on it. Finally, I hope I can pass the English Exam in June, and have the choice to take the English class as same as this class next year.
