Biograph of Edgar Allen Poe

Alen died at 40 years old in 1849.  People found Edgar Alen Poe in Botomore Street, he looked like he was drunk.  He died by an unknow cause because no one knew how he died.  Also during his life time, very few people knew that he was one of the greatest American writers.  During his lifetime, he wrote many scary stories, one of his writing was called "The Murder in the Rue Morgue".  This story talked about a man who killed his twin sister in his old house.  The reason why he wrote so many scary tales was because he got mental illness when he was drunk.  He also could stand 2 hour talking excitedly.  People thought he was drunk, Poe did drink alcohol, but just small amound.  He said that drugs and drinks could help him to speak his imagination writing and wake him up.  However, there's a negative effect, it could also make him crazy.
Poe was borned in Boston, Mass.  His father abandoned his family when he was a little boy.  Lator on, his mother got sick and died and left three children.  No one wanted to adop Poe, then his uncle Mr. Allen refused to adopt him, a merchant of Richmond.  When he was 5 years old, they moved to England, and Poe attended school which was called Manner House School.  In 1820, the family returned to Richmond.  Allen started growing meaner and meaner.  He thought the whole family was worthless.  Later on, Poe tell in love with his neighbor Elmira Roystes, but her father disapproved of it.  When Poe was 17, he entered the University of virginia, he wrote many letters to Elimira, but he father intercepted those letters.  Elmira didn't got one of the letters, so she thought Poe didn't love he anymore.  Thus, she married with some one else.  When Poe knew that, he was heartbroken by his lost love, and he begin to write the poem that were without love.  During that time, he barely could pay many consumption, so he left and quit school, and slept on the street.  Later, went back to live with his real father.  Poe had widow aunt named "Muddy", and he loved he so much.  In the same time, because his wild behavior had made him lose his job again and again.  When he was 27 years old, he married a 17 years old girl name Virgina, but she died of illness when she was 20 years old.
However, Poe just kept ccontinuing writing to support himself and Muddy.  Many of his writings were detective stories, but no one read his stories.  Until 1845, "The Raven" had won him fame.  Poe needed to earn money to survive, so he should to find a rich woman to marry, and a rich woman promised him to many with him, but everything had been left with him because he died a week later.
